Agrichain is a farm produce supply chain management platform that connects farmers directly to buyers without the need to use an internet connection so that they can sustain the smallholder farmers’ livelihoods and improve the existing system’s efficiency. One of the innovators, Justine said that mentorship they received from real entrepreneurs and innovators was invaluable. They received an award of USD 1000 which they put into their savings. Since then, they have gone into partnership with Neurotech and AI company to develop a conversational chatbot to improve on the user experience and reduce the operational costs. To date, farmers have sold around 100 tons of grains through Agrichain.
